Participate in our study

We’re recruiting Egyptian-Canadians and their parents for a University of Toronto study on growing up, family, and the transition to adulthood. 

​Interviews last about 2 hours and can be done online or in person. Participants receive a small token of appreciation afterward.

were you born in Canada or
moved to Canada as a child? 

We’re looking for participants who:
​
  • Have at least one parent who was born in Egypt; 
  • Were born in Canada or moved to Canada by age 15;  
  • Are currently 18 to 35 years old;   
  • Are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident; 
  • Live in Ontario

Did you raise an
​Egyptian-Canadian child?​

We’re also looking for participants who:

  • Were born in Egypt;
  • Raised at least one child who is currently 18-35 years old; 
  • Are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.​​
